On 31 December 2025, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sithixay Xayavong, Rector of Savannakhet University (Lao PDR), led a delegation to visit Guangxi Minzu Normal University, China, where the two institutions officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
The agreement aims to promote faculty and student exchanges, joint research, Chinese language education, and the development of joint academic programs, strengthening educational quality and long-term academic cooperation.
